  • General concern is the exact location of the route of the line. Suggestion to move the Study Area boundary into the northern portion of the Gila River Indian Reservation. Did not want the transmission line in Casa Grande.
  • How will this be paid for and what will be the affect on the consumer?
  • Agree with the project, can see the need for it in the future.
  • No other comments than to state that agreement with Casa Grande mayor and city council.
  • Will not be available for the next round of open houses and wants a map with proposed routes mailed to him at the time they are available.

The following are written comments on the public comment board displayed at the open house:

  1. Expand study area to include Gila River Indian Community
  2. CATS map is confusing because it shows the route of a power line that we're told is still up for discussion
  3. I'm skeptical that our property tax burden will be reduced because the government will just increase spending by an equal amount
  4. Please avoid northern Casa Grande
  5. I have no comments at this time, but will once the line routes are proposed
  6. The power is needed because of the growth we're experiencing
  7. What's in it for Casa Grande?
